Hi,
I have over 7 years of experience working in the IT industry in Vancouver as project manager and systems analyst. I am contemplating going back to Hong Kong to work.
I have started submitting my resume to job sites in Hong Kong and I have received several intersted emails from recruiters on the positions I have applied for.
They all asked the same question: In the event that I am short-listed or if the employer wants to interview me, how do I propose setting that up?
The clear response would be to fly back and meet with them. But, I am thinking more of an economical solution, one that does not require me to take time off and fly back to Hong Kong and meet with them.
I was wondering if a "video-conference" or a "web-cast" session could replace the face-to-face meeting usually required for an interview. If you have other recommendations, I would be delighted to hear about them.
Your advise is greatly appreciated. I look forward to your feedback. Thank you very much!
