I recommend keeping your job while still looking for a job. most experts that I have read say it is easier to find a job when you already have a job. may be hard to do interviews/ search out companies when you are working 60 hrs/wk but is worth it in my opinion.

My husband quit at a very high level, tech job (CFO). Big mistake. It was impossible for him to look with a President breathing down your neck etc, he should have gone for it, looked while working and risked getting fired. He has not worked since Feb and this has gotten real old!
