In Reply To: i just started a new job recently. i do not like it nor do i particularly like the people i'm working with. i am thinking about quitting after less than a month. would it affect my getting hired if i quit a job so soon? what should i do? any advice would be greatly appreciated!
Message: I sense that this job situation is causing you a lot of pain. My advice is to quit as soon as possible, before your probationary period of at least 90 days (if you have one) is up. Unless something changes dramatically- the job, the people, or your attitude towards the first two), you will continue to suffer. Go ahead and quit, go find yourself something more fulfilling. But next time, look for a job that will give you valuable experience and look past the people. Remember, people come and go- never let a person drive you away from a job and never take a job just because you like the people. That's it.
