What do you think???
I was at my first job out of college for 2.5 years. Anxious to explore and conquer the world, I took my second job clear across the country at a startup company. After 2.5 years of rain, 60 hour work weeks, and burned coffee I'm ready to move back to Chicago. Although my career "out here" has gone well - 60% salary increase and promotion to lead engineer - I want to go home.
If I leave again after only 2.5 years does this make me a job hopper? I'm an electrical engineer for what it's worth.

My friend, you are definitely not a job hopper. You are simply following your ambitions, which is the right thing to do. Go where your heart and your instincts lead you- you can go home again. Plus, you will be much happier and successful at a job in your native digs.
