I am an Accenture experienced consultant, working in the Product industry. My specialty is retail, however, pharma is considered the same industry. We have a very strong pharma practice.
I don't know where your located or whethe you like to travel, but most of the pharma clients are on the East coast. Philly area.
With Accenture, like any consulting firm, working hours can get long. However, it is very much left up to the individual to set expectations. If this is done well, one can easily achieve a work/life balance.
Case in point, I am a single mother with two young children and I am home every day at 6pm.
We are hiring many experienced hires. Industry knowledge is valued.
Just thought I would offer some informed information. |

I heard all this stuff about Accenture people having to work really long hours - 6 day weeks - long periods away from home etc. I heard that this does not apply to people with families etc. Only new anaylists.
I have heard that they want to retain people and offering balanced lifestyles is a great way to do this. Is this true? (I am thinking of applying)
