At 33, you still have more than 30 years remaining in your career. If you have the opportunity and capability to do it now the GO FOR IT! It's your dream, your ultimate goal. I'm 56, got my MA at 25 and never went on or back to do my PHD. I had opportunity to do it at 40 and wish I had. Now I'll never know. Follow your dream, do what you need to do to achieve it. Go for it!
