18 months too soon to start looking? |

I got an analyst position in banking and financial services straight out of grad school (MA econ). The position was good for the first year, but now I'm really starting to stagnate. The way I see it, I learned a ton of SAS programming and Excel/Access/VBA, but I'm plateauing as far as developing those skills go (at least in my current role), and I don't see any projects coming down the pipeline.
So the question is, would switching after 18 months be frowned upon and how can I spin my story at the interview?
