Hey folks,
Has anyone made a switch from a career as an engineer to a career in private equity?
I am at a top tier b-school and want to figure out how to make this switch. Specifically, I want to work on the portfolio side of PE. Any suggestions on how I can position myself?

I realise that it has been a while since you posted this message. I am trying to go to Wharton to make a career switch to private equity. Any thoughts? Were you successful?
