good day everyone :)
I current work as an administrative assistant but really want to pursue a paralegal career. I don't care much for my current job but it pays the bills... well, except for my 20k in debt.
I'm worried that if I were to quit this job to pursue being a paralegal, that I could take a huge pay cut and land even more in debt.
What should I do? Sacrifice my happiness and stick it out at my current job, or take a huge risk and more financial instability but pursue my dream job?
Thanks for your help!!

Check for schools offering paralegal certification programs that you can attend parttime. This would be anywhere from 6 - 18 months depending on the school. Sign up with a placement agency that places paralegals in permanent positions. Knowledge of Lexis Nexis or Westlaw is key as well.
Consolidate debt and work with a credit counseling agency that charges little or no fees.
Good Luck!
