Dear toqued,
Your resume is probably saying "doesn't know what she wants" to those hiring mgrs. Five jobs in five years = "ACK! unstable, won't stay very long with us either." You need to short-circuit that response to keep your resume from getting tossed.
My suggestion: Have a professional service do your resume and help you to write some great cover letters that emphasize your strengths, your applicable experience and your desire for stability.
Check vault's resume service! It was rated the best in a Wall St. Journal survey.

Jane,
I have looked into resume writing services. But, as you might guess with my recent employment history, money isn't all that easy to come by. Not that the services aren't worth it. I'm sure they are and definitely wish I could get professional help here. If I possibly could, I'd dole out the dough. But, rent's gotta come first.
