I am curious about career opportunities for a m.d. with license. I am about to finish a 5 year residency and am considering other options. I am rather burnt out with medicine at this time.
I am very open to different ideas. I would consider going back for further education if necessary.
I consider myself to be very hard working and I am a good "problem solver". I am well organized and self-motivated.

Go to the site www.assessment.com and take the career/motivations test there to see where your at. I took it and I can say that it is very accurate. Since you mentioned that you may be burnt out it could be an indication that you are not in the right job. I know what burn out is, because I had it once, and it happened to me because I tried to be everything to everyone which in hindsight is actually an impossible task. So take a break and treat yourself right and see if that site may help point you in the right direction for you. I can suggest all types of careers, but I would be doing you an injustice since I am not you.
