I'm attempting to re-enter the industry after 5 yrs. running my own business. I'm finding that the "entrepenurial spirit" doesn't seem to hold a candle to recent (read: no time off) market experience. I was in the field for 20 years before I took time out to start my own unrelated business. Anyone else have any experience with this type of a sitation from either the employer or candidate side? I have an excellent professional pedigree and all the necessary skills for the position that I'm looking for. Any thoughts?
