In Reply To: Quick question. How long does it usually take them to find a "fit" for you, if you ahve cleared everything? I did well in all rounds. Immediately after I cleared everything, I was told I was eligible for BA/DA positions. Then I was asked to meet a hiring manager for a DA position since it was an urgent need. After learning about the position, I explained that I felt that the BA role was a better fit (it IS a better fit) Then my recruiter said she'd try to fit me into BA positions. It's been over 10 days - no response. I even sent her an email - no response. Any one can shed light on whether it usually takes this long? I was afraid that if it takes this long, the game is usually over.
Message: Unfortunately, many people who are not slotted into an 'urgent need' position (DAs are always in urgent need, imho) can be in limbo for weeks. I'd say check in once a week with your recruiter. They likely won't get in touch with you unless they actually have something to get you into asap, so it'll be frustrating at times. Some recruiters are a bit better than others at keepping you updated, though. Good luck & stay positive. It's definitely not 'over' yet.
