Hi c1analyst,
thanks for the reply. I am an electrical engineering major. I was wondering how C1 looks at EEs. I know they hired 1 last year from my school. During the interviews how do I give a convincing reply why I want to work in a financial area as opposed to designing chips or circuits? My reason is that as an EE I have a strong quantitative and analytical background and want to apply that knowledge in a mathematically involved field like Finance. Here I would also get an opportunity to apply my strong interpersonal and communications skills- something that is rare in EE. Does this sound like a solid reason to you if you were interviewing me?
Thanks again for your help...really appreciate it!

Don't worry hokiegrl, we hire LOTS of engineers. I don't think your reasoning will come into question ;)
