In Reply To: Susu is partly right. However, on top of the regular process (cases + BI's which don't change by role) there will be an interactive stats discussion. I'm not a statistician but here is my understanding of the process: - 1 on 1 with a senior statistician - will discuss a statistical model and some of the measures of fit and the interpretation of these measures (degrees of freedom, p-score, r-squared, confidence interval, etc) - depending on the level it may get a little more complex but i can only guess what taht would be - it should last 30-45 minutes - if you're interviewing for a senior role it will be a lot more involved, you may meet wiht the chief statistician who's a very sharp guy - know your stuff, don't BS with these guys and try and balance theoretical accuracy with clear communication - while this audience is very technical a lot of your audience will not have this backgroudn so it is an asset to be able to explain complex ideas in plain english there may have been another discussion on this in the past if you look for it Tito
Message: Thanks tito for the details. They surely help me for my preparations. Have been practicing cases from mARC Cosentino book? I hope thats enough! mikes
