Message: Hi Gary, here is what I felt about the interviews. Please take these comments with a grain of salt. Case Interviews --------------- -- the cases were pretty straightforward -- both were related to credit cards, but they made it absolutely clear that industry knowledge is not a necessity -- 25% qualitative + 75% quantitative -- when stuck they help your thought process Behavioral Interviews --------------- -- each interviewer comes in with 3 questions and after a brief self-introduction they start off the interviews with those questions -- They allocate an hour for the interview, I would suggest you provide in-depth answer to each of the question -- As per the advice I had received I used examples highlighting both my managerial skills and analytical skills And then the curveball - at the beginning on the day, I was told that we would have 4 interviews after which lunch will be served. After lunch, we would go back to our assigned rooms, where the recruiter will meet with you and explain what happens next. So here I was, feeling a little sleepy after the awesome lunch, in my conference room waiting for the recruiter to walk in. A guy with my resume walks in and says "Hi. Let us have one more interview, and I have been with Cap one for 11 years". Obviously, a senior guy and he asked about why I was interested in Cap One and then moved on to a business case interview - which was more qualitative than quantitative. Hope this helps. Good luck! bp76
