that writing might not be as clear for some as it is for others; some of us have a lot of time and history invested and are less enthusiastic of picking up and starting over elsewhere, optimistic (naively so?) that the opportunity is still there. |

I like you, LadyDa. So have patience with my science lesson.
Every action has an equal and opposite reaction. But how does that really work in nature? And does this natural law apply in business as well?
Consider the flying motion of a bird. Through effort the wings of a bird push air downward. In turn, the air helps by pushing the bird upward. The more effort invested by the bird, the more the air contributes proportionately to the bird's speed and ascent. When the air applies a force disproportionately out of balance the bird's, the bird falters or it's altitude is limited, no matter the effort it expends.
The laws of nature apply in business as well or should.
Some places provide the balance that helps one fly as high as they can...rather than stifling them.
You should be optimistic about "elsewhere". Birds can't fly though brick walls.
