I know so many good people that have been working their butts off for Cigna and are getting the boot. working hard at Cigna does not mean a thing. Management does not know what they are doing. When a member calls in and asks to speak to a manager. they might as well talk to their plants. at the scranton Claims office. All of the "Pee ons" are jumping ship. they are getting out before they close the place down. they sold the financial side and sayed off 3000+ employees. They are restructering to make things better by making them worse. Imagin working for a job as a CSC for 17 years only to loose your job to someone off the street who knows less than you do. NOT FAIR! and posting for another job is a joke. unless you are liked by management you are nothing. In January they switched everyone to Cigna insurance. There are no Dr's in this area but ya lets all have Cigna ins. Some people are paying $400.00 a month for family insurance. and when asked why it was so high for an employee to have Cigna insurance. the response "Business" Cigna the Business of making money. Now the Scranton office lost 100 people in the last several months and when asked about that "we will replace them" just that easy. just put an ad in the paper and see them all come running. all those TEMPS. lets pay a temp agency large amounts of money instead of paying their employees more. lets sell some more of the art work in Philly, lets get rid of the $40 million dollar Gulf course! but this is for the higher-up. so we will keep that. everyone at Cigna that thinks they are great and do a lot for the company is in for such a wake up call. We have seen so many good people get canned. and they don't let you go nicely. a so called TC cleans out your desk while some waste of space from HR tells you good luck. Don't be shocked if you see in the news that Cigna is closing the Scranton site. It would not be a great loss... |

Hello,
Can someone let me know if the problems with Cigna is still pending or what? Also how is their Health Care section in Bloomfield CT. doing? It looks like most companies have a window dressing image in the public eye but people working there tell the ture stories. Any news on how the Finance section in Bloomfield doing?
