Hi,
I have read in various places that you can expect to travel about 4 days a week, 3 weeks in a month, on average.
Any information that answers the questions below would help.
Is this the expectation in at BCG?
Do individuals have any say in how much they travel?
Is travel more focused around the area the office is in, or can it be anywhere in the nation/world, irrespective of your home office location?

depending on the office, travel might be very frequent (Mon-Thurs is common in the Washington DC and Boston offices) or less so (NYC is an example) Friday is definitely off limits, so you'll be travelling at most 4*4 = 16 days a month.
