i'm currently applying to classic strategy consulting type firms, so hope to do more CB side type work. however, i talked to an insider and reading the boards, there really is no cb side.
how is the merger affecting culture, since the two seemed really distinct before?
how does a merge like that work? or do people tend to get the same type of work as they had before?
if i'm trying to work at BAH, how do i position myself so i do more CB type work? |

Your positioning would be clear. You want to be part of the Global Commercial Market unit -- sort of the core of WCB going forward. And you want to be on the Strategy Career Development Model -- sort of the classic CB development path. But those are now two semi-independent choices. You can do either without doing both.
