In Reply To: And there's the dichotomy. No layoffs on the TB side maybe but from 2000 to 2003 there was a heck of a lot of "tough appraisals", deferred offers, and other retrenchment going on on the WCB side. Find it curious, given OFE, that everyone still talks in CB/TB terms ... Just curious what CB's plan was the last couple of years and where it came in at -- I know the govt business pulled BAH through the last 5+ years
Message: CornerCube I think everybody still talks in TB and CB terms because they have very very distinct cultures and completely different remuneration and career progressions profiles. And they recruit differently as well. Irrespective of what teaming may go on across the divisions, these distinctions will perist. With regard to performance, yes, CB was a hurting unit from 2001 (not 200O) through to the end of 2002, maybe a bit longer. And at that time, TB certainly carried CB, although it really only mattered at partner level (where bonueses are based on combined results). Two years ago, I think CB hit its mark and last year it was way ahead. Same is projected for this year.
