General consensus on the board seems to be that BAH low-balls their initial offers and negotiation is recommended. Problem I see is that consensus also seems to be that recruitment process is slow.
So seeking advice I haven??t been able to locate in previous posts.
1. If it takes BAH weeks to get you your offer, how can you effectively negotiate without adding another couple of weeks to the process?
2. If your recruiter agrees to seek a higher offer, do they have to get partners to sign-off again (which seems to be the biggest hang-up)?
3. Are recruiters even the appropriate point of contact to negotiate with or would hiring managers be the preferred route?
