Ok, dug it up. The high-level company PDF helps clarify things.
The role I interviewed for seems to be CB in the Energy sector.
I would assume high travel but still wondering since most enegery companies are in one area, the travel would be more regionally oriented. Maybe/maybe not.
The HR would not (or was not allowed to) expand on what to expect. Nor did I ask in the initial interview since I didnt think it was the right time or opportunity.

I do not want to be harsh, but I'm astonished that 1) you had a seemingly successful interview without knowing or having to demonstrate a basic knowledge about the firm. I'm similarly surprised that no one would discuss travel with you, since it is a fundamental aspect of the job for most WCB consultants. In energy, Texas is of course home to many clients and it is therefore where much of the work is done. But for energy you should think beyond the US. Most, if not all the majors will have big offices/operations in the Middle East, North Sea (Scotland), Asia Pac, South America, Nigeria etc... And I know lots of stateside consultants who end up in these places on projects.
