can someone provide a break up of the relocation package for level II. Looks like the upper cap is 10K, is there is a cash component to it or is it all against documented expenses ? |

You are correct. As a level 2 you are eligible for $10k in relocation. There is no cash component. The thing about the relocation is some things are direct billed (hotel stay, car shipment, shipment of household goods) while others are reimbursed. There is a $1000 component that is elgible for misc items like car registration, utility deposits, etc. should you not exhaust the $10K on the big stuff. One caveat..although a hotel stay of 30 days is direct billed to Booz Allen you WILL be taxed for the hotel stay...my tax came out to approximately HALF the hotel stay and was taken out of a subsequent paycheck (IRS regs not Booz Allen.)
