The comp certainly varies more than that because WTB has very very wide salary for its various levels, whereas in WCB, eahc level gets precisely the same across a geography. So, all A1s in Europe get precisely the same base salary - it is not possible for some to be on more than others. Similarly for Cs, SCs, SAs an principals. E.g. in the London office, all SA1s are on ??85K (roughly). Conversely, an two L4's of equivalent level in WTB can be of widely different salaries. I believe that those at the top end of a WTB cohort will earn roughly (though still typically less)what the equivalent cohort in WCB earns.
Interesting detail on the plans for the merger incidentally. But when I question how real the changes are for employees, my hypothesis is that thing like career path, remuneration, appraisals etc won't chnage for either group.

Vudu - do you have an idea of the London salaries for Senior Consultants?
A breakdown of the levels for Senior Consultants would also be useful.
Thanks in advance.
