In Reply To: There has never been(at least not for the last few years) a distinction between CB and TB partner compensation. The compensation distinction only exists below partner level. And then it is very substantial?? But what do you mean that CB and TB cease to exist as of 1 April? Maybe in name, but not in reality??
Message: Not sure the compensation difference is all that great between WTB and WCB below the partner levels. Maybe 15% to 20% on average? Certainly the top performers in WTB are well within the cohort structure of WCB. Both salary structures are pegged to their markets. The difference reflects largely the longer hours and more demanding travel schedule for WCB. WTB and WCB disappear in April and are replaced by four operating units. The Global Government Unit contains some operations that were mostly in WTB, though others used to be in WCB. But all of the functional units formerly in WTB are now combined with those in WCB into a Global Capabilities Unit. This is a true blend of WCB and WTB. So is the new Global Integrated Markets unit which cuts completely across the old WCB and WTB lines. The final unit, Global Commercial Markets, contains a portion of the old WCB but much of what was WCB is now moved to other areas. So the mixing is pretty complete, especially on the functional side.
