TB and CB - do not confuse the two |

There seems to be a great deal of confusion (and therefore pointless posts, and inefficient communication etc) about Booz Allen - WTB and WCB. Many people on this board don't adequately distinguish between the two, and those who do seem quite confused about what each division does. Irrespective of firm PR or internal changes (pretty minimal), the reality is that TB and CB are very very different animals. The two divisions attract a different sort of person, with a different skill set, different expectations of work-life balance, travel, career path, challenge and remuneration. The firm is certainly attempting to leverage the more tech/engineer expertise of TB into CB. But that will not fundamentally change the culture of each division and what is expected of its people. The two divisions are so often confused, I would suggest that The Vault should create 2 seperate boards for TB and CB. As CB'er, the leveraging of TB is not really worrying - the real impact on CB will be minimal. More concerning is the general move of the firm to "strategy based transformation", which often aren't particularly strategic at all. Rather, SBT relies a lot on very detailed planning and diligence (templates!), as opposed to great strategic thinking.
