The Functional teams will continue to hire a broad array of professionals, most of whom will have advanced degrees or substantial work experience. Some will be hired straight from undergrad programs.
The Domain teams likewise will hire a variety of people. Teams operating in areas such as Health Care will have both talented general management professionals (from top MBA programs) as well has experienced professionals (e.g., doctors, health care administrators, etc.) |

so if someone joins one of these functional teams (say operations) as a Sr.Consultant, will it be possible to get aligned to a domain(say Consumer Goods) down the road when its time to become an Associate/Sr Associate without having an MBA ?
Also, how much will salaries vary between these functional and domain groups ?
