I'm looking for advice on how to get an interview with Booz Allen. I have five years work experience in for profit (Goldman Sachs) and nonprofit orgs and want to become a management consultant. Have submitted my resume through online system but no response. Any suggestions? Thank you! |

Your best bet is to find someone within Booz Allen who will forward your resume to the recuriter and hiring manager.
I hate to say it, but the online system links to the black hole known as the HR database.
I only know of one person who was hired by applying online.
Here is my suggestion.
1. Finding the job posting you're most interested in. (one maybe two. Not ten or twenty)
2. Write down the job posting # and prepare a one or two paragraph write up on why you're perfect for the job.
3. Find someone you know that works at Booz Allen (or a friend of a friend).
4. Ask them to look up the posting # and it should tell them who the recuriter is. Ask them to submit your resume and write for you.
There is a referral bonus, so that will be the motivation for them to act on your behalf.
You also need to know that the hiring process at Booz Allen could take a while. So it may be a few weeks before you hear from someone at HR. (This assumes you've made the cut)
