I have my 1st Rd of interviews next week for a Bus Analyst position in VA/DC. I'm trying to get my lingo down so I can understand what everyone is saying. If I were to make it to neg. what should I expect for an offer.
5+ years overall IT exp (private & gov't)
BA & MS in IT
Also, any help about the type of interview process or strategies would be great.
Thanks |

I recently started BAH and I really like it so far. My interview was with four interviewers lasting about 30-45 mins each. I first interviewed with someone who was more of the "behavioral" person. Next I interviewed with my hiring manager. She had screened me on the phone so I was familiar with her. Next, I interviewed with a subject matter expert who works closely with our team. Lastly, I met with someone from HR who gave a history/outline of the company and the position.
I interviewed on Friday and got an offer the following Monday. The interview was a breeze because I knew at that point they really wanted me and each interviewer offered positive feedback about my resume. My advice... know your subject matter well and exude enthusiam. Show that you are a great, genuine person. That's the common thread I've found since starting BAH, everyone is very personable and down to earth.
