Just because they say it is the Energy practice doesn't mean you'll be doing energy related work. You could be doing IT requirements for the Energy Dept and they they will call it Energy work.
They are trying to do the one firm thing, but whether it can really come together is really up in the air. They are trying the same thing for health care and supply chain operations and it seems like it is up in the air for that as well |

Thanks for your reply. Interesting. How is the One Firm initiative going with regard to making it practical for staff to work on public and private sector client projects? Do you think it will stay the way it has been historically, at least in the meantime, with the two types of clients demanding very different Booz team cultures? And what about the energy practice in this regard - are Booz staff able to work public and private sector clients in energy (understanding what you've said about the nature of the work in the first place not being much about energy)?
