because I found it to be much more professional, team-oriented and organized. Everyone is really on point and held accountable for their work. At Booz, you can get away with a mediocre work product and people definitely do. If you are one of those people who values quality then the work will fall on you because others will have kids to pick up, doctor's appointments, or just plain low work ethic. In that sense, the work/life balance is so good that very little gets done. I found the people to be mediocre at best because their minds were distracted with what is going on at home, at part-time MBA programs, or in their own business on the side - YES, I rarely found people who were as dedicated as I thought they should be UNLESS they came over from ACN!!!! Now, what I liked about BAH was the work/life balance but I never took advantage of it because I felt I was always cleaning up after others.
I feel like BAH gets the projects that ACN would not touch! It is so internally stovepiped and political it's ridiculous! I have never worked with such negative and mediocre people! I would never consider going back!!!!
Consider reading the "Booznian Tragedy" thread also. |

Wow, I had no idea it was like that. Accenture has its faults, but complacency is not one of them.
Well, I really appreciate your candid insight. Thanks a lot.
