WITHIN THE WASHINGTON DC AREA:
How diverse is Booz ?? I??ve noticed from two friends of mine (Filipino & Hispanic) that Booz doesn??t seem to hire much minorities.
I work for Deloitte and my Filipino friend with Excellent skills and credentials was looking to be a consultant at Booz -went through 7 interviews for 3 different positions but didn??t get an offer; similar experience with a Hispanic friend.
I worked with a typical ??Anglo?? girl (5??9??, blonde, blue-eyed), the worst person I??ve ever had to lead; missed deliverables, made incorrect technical design docs, didn??t understand how to follow simple processes, and wasn??t much of a team player ?? she was hired at Booz after 2 interviews. She even asked me for a recommendation, which I couldn??t provide mainly due to her performance.
What??s the deal with Booz? Definitely seems like the ??old-boys?? club; but I can??t believe their hiring practices are this BLATANTLY bias. I spoke with a consultant at DiamondCluster and she gave me similar feedback about Booz. Are they correct? Is there much diversity within the Organization? Thanks

Might be worth noting that the VP in charge of all HR at Booz Allen is an Hispanic-American.
