In Reply To: I'm in CB so I can't speak extensively on the nuances of TB, but the same 2-3 people seem to bitch incessantly about TB. Why don't you quit? If it's such a horrible place and you're sooooo undervalued, why not go to a firm that would better value your special skill set? I'm the last guy to blindly defend a firm -- God knows I have little loyalty to any place. But CB has been wonderful to me, as has BAH as a whole, so it's frustrating to see the same 2-3 discontents slam it while offering little substantive proof to support their assertions.
Message: Wolverine, the problem lies in people that instead of trying to find a constructive solution and actively listening, resort to extremes and get defensive. These boards are meant to raise issues, to proactively tackle a problem or concern. We are consultants at heart aren't we? and if we find a problem within our firm, we are compelled to probe it. I assure you the employee turnover rate at Booz (TB) is rising, but I also assure you that the profile of individuals being hired is changing- The profile is no longer consultants (in TB) but contractors, project managers, who sign up to do exactly what they expect, so don't worry, the bickering will drop as the firm sets the record straight and is more transparent to its employess and potential hires on the job expectations. If the company does not do this, this wil continue to happen. How about you tell all your clients- "just dissolve the company, sell your stocks and run if your having such a hard time keeping profits up". Way to go you, a true consultant a heart.
