In my experience, about 70% of Boeing's "job posts" are cancelled because they didn't get whatever contract they bid on. The other way in the door is like the Air Force deal with Druyan and her daughter. |

Last I heard it was about 50%. Some of the reqs are used just for specific people they have in mind. for ex, if you applied for a level 4, but you're an entry-level college grad, they'll post a level 1 if they decide to hire you so you can apply for that position. its just corp policy for all hires to apply through reqs.
