between Charlie Rose and Bloomberg. Is it that Charlie merely rents the studio to produce the show and then distributes his show on his own? |

Charlie's show uses a BB studio either given to him free or at a substantial discount. Nothing comes out of his pocket for the facilities or staff. The show is then aired on PBS affiliates at hours that nobody is up to watch anyway. It's not a for-profit show like 20/20, Dateline, etc. which all air on commercial broadcast outlets. So, maybe BB even gets a tax write off for donating the resources since it's going to a non-profit broadcast outlet. I dunno - that's speculation on my part.
