but Bloomberg seems to be generating alot of cash flow, given the abvious convergence of devices and the material successes being generated by CNBC with the emmergence of Cramer as a talk show host that can capture 16 hrs of programming a week I would think the time would be right for Bloomberg to explore what is obviously a growing market. The amount of cross-selling alone that could result would be substantial across all the outlets of on-line, print, tv, radio...and Bloomberg platforms. |

it's correct, we were ordered in w's notes to get out of the office more. but it's not the budget that will rein it back in, it's cya, bureaucratic mentality. the first time somebody doesn't rewrite a press release coming over the wire fast enough, an editor will get his/her a. handed to them, and that's the last time their reporters will leave the office.
canned news, announcements, earnings, earnings and more earnings are what we do. but damn are we fast. scoops, real scoops, not phony NI WINs, we leave to the wsj.
