The fact remains that the bigger the systems architecture the harder it becomes to protect it and lets face it, just because they could have opted out as you say it does not mean someone does not have the capacity to compromise the network, the fact remains that anyone that would be foolish enough to do it in my book he is an idiot. Look at the end result. But I should give you some advice as to constructive criticism; it not only helps the soul but the mind as well. The fact is just because Bear Sterns did not experience any problems it does not mean the holes where not there. The fact is they spent moneys to correct Bloomberg??s problems and last but not least can you tell me the reason why Orchestria has been brought in to accommodate your inabilities to resolve your own internal requirements.
By the way even if the articles are a few years old it does not mean that there are no pending lawsuits against Bloomberg I find it interesting that someone with your expertise would not want to do some research as to how many legal cases have been settled out of court with out anyone knowing about it. It??s an old tradition at Bloomberg sweep it under the rug.
