I heard that there are many systems vulnerability or open hole with the Bloomberg Pro software and many of its components and that Bloomberg is now being sued for that look at this URL http://www.networkcomputing.com/1304/1304centerfoldtext.html
Anybody know what Bear Sterns is talking about???

BB has been automatically downloading software to most customers for 10+ years. This article is a complete non-issue. It even says "Bear Stearns hadn't encountered any major problems with the Bloomberg software before installing the Pelican software...".
So it set some registry keys and moved a DLL. Big f'ing deal. The automatic downloads aren't mandatory. If they were that concerned, they could opt out as some firms do.
Oh, and by the way, the article is 4 years old. Who do you work for, Pelican Software ???
Get a grip and don't waste our time.
