I aggree all of your tips. Also they used to ask you to score your skills (what you write on your resume) out of 10 scale. If you say that your C++ is 9.0 out of 10.0 then they will ask all type of questions from data structures to some design patterns, expect some tough questions. They will want to see that you can start doing actual stuff right away. Also they will need to see that you are really into financial data, means, you like playing, organizing, modelling numbers in financial way. I think that wearing clean is important but I think Bloomberg doesn't care as much as oher financial companies.
