You must be smoking crack! If you think that this company has changed for the better you have not clue! Been around for as long as I have I have seen major changes! This company has taken your certs and raises not based on performance but because of that 700 million plus rat infested sinkhole they call 731. This company has enjoyed the finest 2 years it has ever had and most of the employees have gotten crap for it! The company hires people that should be working for the TWU (people who can't get jobs anywhere else and hood rats) and HR protects them when they can't or won't do the job! I am in management and whatever they are selling you, you apparently bought into it! |

Rat hole? That office is one of the best in New York. Your right, they have cut back on certs and didnt give many pay raises last year, but have you compared what you make to others doing the same thing. I have a friend that does almost exactly what I do in operations, he works for a LARGE company. I make more than he does, have better benefits, and he oversee's 90 people. See, you are probably a long time Bloomberg employee, over 10 years, and all you remember is the Mike B days of 15-30% raises every year etc. Those days are over, Bloomberg is a larger company and finally realized that majority of their employees are overpayed compared to industry standard. Go to Thomson or Rueters and see what they offer you for what you do at Bloomberg, you will probably be shocked.
