Im not going to say what I do except that I am in operations. The 4 Weeks I got was not vacation at all, it was L days. Most companies like IBM, GE etc..(which I have good friends that work their) pay like $150/$200 a month out of their own pocket Monthly for coverage that is no where near what we currently have. Bloomberg has changed since Mike left and not much for the better, but it is still one of the best companies to work for in my opinion. |

It could be worse... yes, some thing really suck silicon at BBG but in reality is not as bad as it gets at other big name companies. If one gets every little micromanagement pea the supervisory chain throws at you then probably the final run ends will be the loonie bin.
Recognize your contributions, put everyone else on their righful place - good or bad regardless, and don't let anyone crawl all over you just because a nametag/orgchart position. It's the same fight everywhere else.
