That's insanity. A stupid rumor. No -- can't even be called a rumor. Bloomberg NEVER had any COBOL. There used to be a little assembler when we used the Perkin Elmers but that was converted to C when we switched to the dgs.
Everything else was in FORTRAN until about 2000 or 2001
