Mobility at blk depends on your personal initiative. it is relatively easy to move from PAG to product development (or any marketing/client related position) but not the other way around (because PAG requires better quantitative ability). it is very hard to move from PAG into portfolio management though. |

Why is it hard to move from PAG to portfolio management. It seems like it would be a natural progression? I have an interview with PAG but eventually would like to be a PM.
