You need to run and run fast. I've been out for a year and have never looked back. The sad thing is that I received close to a 23% raise during my last year but it was too little and way too late. Jumped ship to a second tier IT consulting shop and doubled my salary, which is now more closely aligned with the market. I have no regrets. Oh, forgot to mention no more travel... engagements are local. |
