Thanks for writing back. I've been reading and hearing things about 60-80 hr work weeks. Is that possible?

I would say 60-80 hour work weeks are the exception rather than the rule.
You will work long days (10 hours), short/working lunches, and an occasional very long days and weekends (possible once a month).
Having said this, I have recently witnessed poor project planning and immoral useage of employees by MDs and Project Managers that are trying to "look good" at the cost of their team members. For example increasing scope without increasing budget/resources and schedule.
