From the cover of the 2004 10-k report sent out:
"I want to thank all of you for your patience and understanding during this intense period of review. After 11 months at BearingPoint I am even more excited about our business, our company and our prospects and look forward to sharing future successes with you".
Sure, why not be excited? From pg.168,
You got on March 2005:
Annual BAse Salary of $750,000
Sign on CASH bonus of $1,000,000 (go on, say it like Dr.Evil)
Annual Bonus: (yes, BEE's you read it right. ANNUAL BONUS) Mr.You will be eligible for an annual bonus with a target amount equal to at least 100% of his base salary.
And I'll stop right here. I got the chance to get out of BE, I should not be concerned about raises, bonuese or lack thereof. But this just reeks. The only time I got a bonus, it was - I think - for less than 2% of my base salary.
I just received the 2004 BE annual report, and I'm glad I just sold out every share of BE that I owned.
My bet? Either Harry takes BE private again, or sells it. Maybe that's the other *big* announcement coming up in March that everybody's talking about?
