In Reply To: I'm sure this question has been answered somewhere on this board, but I am unable to find it. Would someone who is familiar with BP and Booz Allen in the public sector business explain how Booz Allen's levels equate to BearingPoint's levels. BAH: Consultant Sr. Consultant Associate Sr. Associate Principal Partner
Message: Consultant at BAH is normally a Management Analyst or SMA at BearingPoint (basically your entry level undergrad) SC at BAH is typically your Consultant at BearingPoint (example, I'm working with someone that just recently transferred from BAH where they were an SC and were brought over as a C, but still have a much higher salary now) Associate at BAH is along the lines of SC/Manager at BearingPoint, I think this is where they start to overlap, Sr. Associate is similar to Sr. Manager. Principal is similar to MD, and Partner is similar to an SVP or EVP. Hope this helps. BearingPoint appears to prefer experience to education, where Booz strongly takes education into account.
