Looks like the normal communication logging that is done while an employee is on the Network. The following "Targeting abd Analysis of Stored Data Capability" seems to be a new.
"A risk management team member can easily direct Vericept SDA to silently target any desired laptop, workstation or file server connected to the business' network. Vericept's contextual linguistics engine analyzes the stored data to identify infractions. The resulting data is compiled into a comprehensive report for further analysis. The resulting data can also be combined with the information and reports of Vericept's monitoring solution, presenting a holistic picture of security breaches and unauthorized activity.
Vericept's SDA provides full content analysis and detailed reporting for over 60 Vericept-defined areas of concern for information security, compliance and general network abuse, including personal file information, P2P file sharing, trading, mergers and acquisitions, credit card numbers, social security numbers, Web mail and instant messaging. SDA can analyze numerous file types such as Access, Excel, HTML, PowerPoint, Microsoft Word, rich text format, Lotus 1-2-3 and data interchange format. SDA works seamlessly with Vericept's current solutions that monitor information in transit." |
