I recently checked my account and looks like I am forfeiting 20k points. All that I have in my account is 3k. I called the customer service only to find out that we will not get any points for the monthm if you dont make the FULL payment. That means, if you make advance reservations and not charge them, you will have a balance for that month and so will not get any points. And it carries on like that. One of the perks that we had is GONE. This sucks big time. I think I wasted the 75$ for enrollment. And also, if you check the rewards, they are ridiculous. Nothing worth is there for less than 200K points. Do your math to find out how many years it will take to accumulate that points. This is a corporate scandal. They might have agreed to give BE some kickbacks and deny us all kinds of benefits. |

Really, is it THAT big a deal? COnsidering all the crap going on in the world and at BE, I consider this a nit.
I personally have had my points lost once. Here's what I do:
1) Never book more than 14 days in advance. If the company wants to do it this way, well our clients and BE will pay for it
2) Always "forget" to wait until the last leg is completed to charge it in. By the time it actually gets processed, I completed the flight, so they can't mess with me (they haven't yet).
3) Mail the receipts the day you send the timenx.
It is a pain, but it's easy for them to say "it's not a company sponsored benefit" to get the miles... Or some nonsense like that...
